The
Mighty Big Band is available to perform for a variety of
venues and event types:
-Private
Parties/Weddings/Corporate Events
The
Mighty Big Band would be happy to tailor a show to fit your
personal event whether it be a themed dance party, casual
outdoor event or formal evening dinner/reception. Capable
of setting a wide range of moods, the band will work with
you on setting the pace and tone of your event, ranging
anywhere from quiet background music to full blown dance
party atmosphere and will work with you to coordinate timed
events throughout the evening. Also, the band can learn and
perform a few tunes outside of their normal repertoire by
request to fit an event
whether it be for a themed party or favorite songs of a
bride and groom.
-Concerts
In
a concert setting the band usually performs a mixture of
their original material along with crowd favorites in a
musical blend of styles of R&B, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rock
and Pop. Part of the appeal of the band's show is their
ability to draw from a broad range of styles and influences
and support it with the musicianship and vocal talent to
pull it off. This makes for a dynamic show that will excite
music lovers of all kinds. The band regularly performs a
number of concert and festival type events regionally
around the Saint Louis area and beyond. Inquiries to travel
are welcomed.
-Nightclubs
Equally
at home in a classy environment such as the Ritz-Carlton
Lobby Lounge or in the crowded blues joint atmosphere of
BB's Jazz, Blues and Soups, or hosting an informal Jam
Session at Missouri Bar & Grill, The Mighty Big Band
has been a hot act on the St. Louis club scene for years.
